According to Karmae Cipriotti Fahr, Founder and CEO of The Fahr Group, God is back in vogue.

“Not that He ever left the scene,” Fahr quips. “It’s just that more professionals—me included—have found Him at work. For me, it’s a calling.”

In a new episode of Savvy and The Sage, hosts Rob Brinkman (the Sage) and Chad Tongco (the Savvy) sit down with “one of the highest performing executive recruiters in the nation,” Karmae Fahr, to uncover her “secret sauce.” Spoiler alert: it’s not a trade secret but a blend of faith and relentless effort.

“Executive search is no walk in the park,” Fahr admits. “Each day starts with prayer. It’s not an easy process, but it works. It’s intense for the candidates, too, but the results speak for themselves: we fill 100% of our searches… within 90 days. No one else does that.  The industry average? Only 59%.”

What’s her method?

“We collaborate closely with hiring committees to map out the role, aligning it with both corporate objectives and culture, while ensuring it meets the career aspirations of the candidates,” Fahr explains.

The secret to long-term success? Understanding what motivates people to move. Fahr and her team don’t just focus on qualifications; they dig deeper into why people are drawn to certain companies—and why they stay. According to Fahr, companies that invest in both the professional and personal growth of their employees don’t just attract top-tier talent, they keep them for the long haul.

Fahr recounts a few success stories that show the impact of this approach, including a company that pivoted to remote work against all odds and a healthcare organization where a janitor quite literally saved lives.
